Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Title of Artwork: Water: the ‘ōte’a Dancer
Medium: Assemblage technique- acrylic, textiles, sea-shells, beads
This artwork depicts a Tahitian dance performance, which is characteristically energetic and
striking, with rapid hip movements to percussion—each dance being a narrative of
mythological tales or events in their daily life. I associated it with the element “water”, since
the Polynesian dance is performed next to sea. I composed the elaborate outfit that covers
the otea from head to toe- including an elaborate headpiece, garlands and a voluminous,
flowing grass skirt.
I am a visual artist and an architect student based in Norway. Making art not only helps me pursue my passion and hobby, but it also gives me a distinct way to help and support society and global causes in my own small way. My newer pieces study the essence of architectural buildings and landscapes from around the world. They are also a reflection of the international exposures I have had living in Norway and studying in the Netherlands.
